Lucky for me, we NEED complex carbs, which are an important source of fiber, to clean us out and get rid of all the yuck stuck to our colon and intestines...in fact, research has shown that eating the recommended 25-30 grams of fiber a day is directly linked to losing belly fat...I like it! So these days, I TRY to get all of my 6 carb servings from complex carbs...so here are some of my faves!

Love this bread...only 15 carbs and 3 grams of fiber in a slice...yummy in a BLT! I buy mine at Whole Foods, but I am seeing Ezekiel everywhere these days.
I use this as my "dough" for pizza...it is the easiest pizza ever and so yummy! I also like to fill a pocket with tuna salad...love these little guys...4 grams of fiber in a whole pita!
These tortillas are sooooo versatile! I eat breakfast burritos, BBQ chicken wraps, quesadillas, burritos, fajitas...you name it! It has a whopping 12 grams of fiber...I eat one of these every day. I get them at Vons in the large size, but I just found them in the small soft taco size at my Albertsons...I think I like the small better because I can have two of whatever I'm making LOL...I know its the same amount of food, but I feel like I'm eating more (if that makes sense?)
